THE NETBLOX STORY
WHO AM I?
My name is Lukas – but most call me AlmostLucky or Lucky. Back in 2009 I was just a young german teenager with no clue about filming, editing or rendering. I just had a deep love for STAR WARS and a burning curiosity how they created all those effects back then.
The very first upload?
A video of me swinging a self animated lightsaber – just for fun, like most of us did back then.
"WHEN HOBBY BECOMES WORK!"
I am a very creative person, so after finishing school, I explored different subjects on university - always looking for something that felt right.
But nothing captured me like the idea of bringing my own thoughts, memories and emotions to life on screen.
Another passion, besides music and filming was gaming. When Rocket League was released, it completely catched me.
The mechanics, the competitive gameplay and adrenaline! I played a lot and eventually reached a level where I was able to join a semi-professional team and earn money by just playing.
That time taught me a lot! Not just about the gaming industry, but also teamwork, discipline and it even pushed me to do livestreams on Twitch because bringing emotions on screen worked perfectly with that!
"ADAPT AND MAKE USE OF WHAT YOU'VE LEARNED!"
In 2020, the COVID pandemic hit hard in Germany and everything changed.
My dad, a close friend Pascal and I launched a heartfelt project called COUCHROCK to support local musicians during lockdowns by livestreaming exclusive concerts on Facebook and YouTube. All donations went directly to the artists!
That experience reignited my passion for filming and editing. We upgraded our gear, learned how to handle professional live productions and suddenly things took off.
With marketing and sales shifting to ONLY online, local businesses started reaching out for help on video and livestreaming. I took what I learned and went for it:
I became self-employed, launching my first small business as a videographer and livestream producer.

2025 - Here I am!
Being self employed went well. I never made the big money, but I always had enough to care of my cats, drive a solid car and keep building up my arsenal of equipment and experience.
After five years of running my own business, I've learned a lot. Both the highs and the lows. The easy and the tough lessons. I've seen what works and what not when it comes to content, business and staying true to your own passion.
NOW it's finally time to put all of that into something fully mine.
With NETBLOX, I am combining my love for gaming, filming, editing and connecting with people online. Creating content that's exciting, creative, helpful and community driven - it's such a joy seeing it all work out.

In just 3 months, NETBLOX has already passed the 10.000 Subscribers and hit over 50 Million views. That is absolutely wild and I am beyond grateful!
